Downloading the Qualibrate Updater
To start downloading the Qualibrate Updater, navigate to the top-right corner of the main Qualibrate screen. Expand the user menu then click the Download Updater option. The QFP Updater download will start immediately.
NOTE: If the browser shows a warning message, select the option to “Keep” the file and continue with the download and installation.
Navigate to the download folder and look for the installation file:
Double-click the installation file to install the Qualibrate Updater.
Next the Qualibrate Updater Setup Wizard will start and guide you through the simple, straightforward installation process.
Select your installation folder and when ready to install, click the "Install" button.
To complete the installation, click “Finish”.
That's it! You have installed the Qualibrate Updater. The following shortcut icon will be added to your desktop:

Connect to the Qualibrate server
Double-click the desktop icon to start the Qualibrate Updater and watch your system tray. The Qualibrate Updater will be displayed among your other running programs. The Qualibrate cloud icon should appear grey informing you that you have not yet connected to the Qualibrate server. If it is the first time running the Qualibrate Updater, you will be presented with the settings screen.
The Qualibrate Updater Settings window will be displayed.
Hostname - the hostname represents the link to your Qualibrate environment (Usually is the same web address used to connect to the Qualibrate environment on the web)
for example https://*companyname*.qualibrate.com[:portnumber]/ where *companyname* is specific to your environment.
Username and Password - these represent the login credentials for your Qualibrate environment. Please contact your internal Company Administrator for more details.
Enable Web Proxy - ability to configure your proxy settings, if you are using proxy.
Start on Windows Startup* - ability to Disable/Enable the auto start the Qualibrate Updater on Windows startup.
NOTE: Start on Windows Startup function is enabled by default (Qualibrate Updater starts on windows login).
Check for Updates on Connect* - ability to use a checkbox option to disable/enable the automatic check for updates when connecting to Qualibrate.

After you complete all the requested information click “Apply” to save.
*This functionality will be available with the next Release.
Now that we have entered your connection information we will connect the Qualibrate Updater to the Qualibrate server.
To connect to the Qualibrate server, right-click on the icon in the system tray (lower right side of the screen) and select the Connect to QFP option.
After the connection is successful, the updater will check for updates and install them. During this process the Updater's icon will turn orange in the system tray.
You will be shortly prompted when the adapter is connected and the Qualibrate Updater icon will change the color to Blue.
Updating the Qualibrate Tools
If you want to check for updates afterwards you can do it manually by selecting the Check for updates option from the adapter menu in the system tray.
If there are any updates for the tools you checked above, they will get downloaded and installed automatically. Once the Qualibrate adapter is ready to use the following pup-up will appear on the right-bottom corner of your screen.
Note: Make sure you have selected the right adapter from the dropdown menu available next to your project name and username:
It should match your computer name.
