With Qualibrate your business processes get documented as Qualibrate processes so you can later execute on them tests or hold training sessions. Test execution can be done manually or automatically and with as many variations for their associated data sets as needed.
Recording flows is easy and straightforward. The recording is started by selecting the Record button available on top of the flow name while in the Main Details section or the Flow Sequence section.
The Recorder widget will appear:
Simple SAP example: Log in task into SAP
Steps for recording:
- Click on Record button of the flow
- Type a name for your task on the Recorder widget
- Do SAP actions:
- Connect to SAP
- Type user
- Type password
- Press ENTER
- Click Save on the Recorder widget.
Qualibrate resulting task:
After saving the recording the information will be automatically uploaded to Qualibrate as a task of your flow. The flow is now available for test executions and using it as training material. The resulting Qualibrate task of the SAP Log in example is:
Obs: Please keep in mind that Qualibrate does not record about:blank pages. If your homepage is set to such a page your browser will not get hooked and the flow will not get recorded.
During execution parameters and their values as captured and stored as data sets. Data Set is created automatically while recording. You can find it under your flow:
The following is the data set associated to the SAP Log in flow just recorded before:
A data set represents a spreadsheet that includes test data. This data is collected during the recording of the flow. It includes one or multiple iterations holding recording or manipulated data.
Besides the data set created at recording other data sets can be manually created.
To create a new data set you have to right-click on the flow and select the Create Data Set option.

If your connection is lost during saving, a retry mechanism will be started for 50 seconds. Qualibrate will inform you immediately. After the connection is established, Qualibrate will continue automatically to save your recording to the flow.
