Scenarios can be used to connect flows together so these can be executed one after the other. For example it is possible to execute 10 flows in one execution instead of executing them one by one.
You create a new scenario by right-clicking on a folder and selecting the Create Scenario option.
The next step after creating a scenario is to add flows to it. This is easily done by drag and drop. You select the flow you want to execute under the created scenario and drop it over the scenario's name in the tree.
After the flow has been added to the scenario the following pop-up message will be displayed:
The selected flows may be under different processes. The following example shows a scenario under which various flows from different processes have been added.
Under the Execution sequence section of a scenario you will see listed the flow instances that will be executed. On the right side of the window you will find the flow instances properties:
- Instance name
- Execution mode
- Data set
- Flow criticality
- Flow name
There are 3 execution modes in Qualibrate: Manual-Test, Automated-Test, Training. Each will launch the according QFP application when the scenario execution gets to the selected flow.
If the chosen data set has multiple iterations the flow will be executed multiple times in a row.
Delete flow instance
To delete a flow instance from the scenario select the Delete instance option available for each listed instance.
